Invisalign products are clear plastic aligners that are less than one millimeter thick. Those appliances then move the teeth slowly and gently towards their optimum positions. They are removable. One of the advantages of Invisalign is that it can be used for adults as well.
Invisalign aligners should be worn for at least 20 hours per day. Though the aligners are removable, you should not really be removing them very often if you want them to work effectively.
Advantages
Time: Invisalign, on average, cuts treatment times. One of the most important aspects of the Invisalign experience is that the aligners are designed to provide as little disruption to the everyday life of the patients wearing them.
Aesthetics: Invisalign aligners are made of thin, discrete and transparent plastic, so they are barely visible while you are wearing them.
Comfort: As Invisalign aligners are removable, not fixed. Therefore, you can take them out to eat and to clean which makes life a whole lot easier. The plastic aligners do not require complex mechanism of brackets, wires and elastics, so much easier to look after and more comfortable to wear. Finally, you don’t need your aligners adjusting.
The Inman Aligner applies a gentle pressure to the teeth that need to be moved. This gentle process is provided by the spring action of the appliance. Once your teeth are corrected the Inman Aligner works like a retainer and holds them in place.

The System is comprised of a number of different invisible methods that we use in conjunction with clear positioners which are excellent at straightening out overlapping, crooked or gappy teeth, but they can’t solve every problem on their own.
The important thing to remember is that although we use other methods as well as the clear positioners – they are all still invisible!
The clear positioners continue to be the main method of treatment with The Clearstep System. They are wafer thin and made of a transparent medical grade plastic.
They are designed so that you wear each positioner for approximately two weeks. Little by little they gently move your teeth from their present to your desired position, as you work through the steps.
They are very comfortable and don’t impact on your speech, but importantly, are removable so you can take them out for an important business meeting or a hot date!
